Buckley
Have we done enough to honor William F. Buckley? When he passes he will be lionized in every conservative publication, and even the liberal ones will take notice. As a good Bostonian I believe in celebrating people while they are alive, so that they can actually enjoy it (Some actually questioned the naming of the Ted Williams Tunnel while he was still with us.)
This thought is inspired by George Will’s great column today. The column is not about Buckley but it does mention him. Remember without Buckley conservatism would still be a backwater disease and there would never have been a President Reagan. We need to find some way to celebrate the man.
