Democrat Delusions
The best thing about Democrats claiming that they need to frame their political goals in moral terms is that there is not a snowball's chance in hell that it will work. Liberal political goals are based on ideas about justice and ultimately class warfare. Conservative politics are based on ideas about morals and freedom. The rhetoric for one set of ideas will not explain the rationale for the other set of ideas. If the Democrats keep going in this direction their constituency will be so confused that we'll have President Jeb Bush in 2008, President George P. Bush in 2016, and President Jenna Bush in 2024. And frankly, 2024 is too damn soon to hear another President brag about Texas for eight years.
