I Hate This Garbage.

From MSNBC:

“Anti-immigration sentiment has always simmered, and it flares up about once a decade—the last time it hit this level was 1996, when California Gov. Pete Wilson made it the centerpiece of his failed presidential campaign.”

I am all for immigration, damn it. I am against illegal immigration. I am against people who break the law. This is not hard to differentiate.

OK. There is no reason for the quotation marks. It is illegal. Period.

Cheap labor. Correct. Economic rejuvenation? Cheap labor does not drive economic growth. Ideas and capital investment drive economic growth. Obstacles? You are right.

We are not talking about papers. We are talking about laws. I am not a racist because I believe in enforcing the law. If you are from Japan, Ireland, or Mexico you should be here legally.
